3das Volk seine Wohltäter ehrt, zu Glück und
4Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die Vorsitzenden, die
5erlost sein werden zum Vorsitz für die kommende Volksversammlung,
6hierüber verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlage
7des Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach der Rat beschließt,
8dass man belobige Philokles, den König von Sidon, und ihn
9bekränze mit goldenem Kranz gemäß dem Gesetz wegen seines Wohlwollens,
10das er beständig hegt gegenüber dem Volk; dass er sein solle
11Athener und seine Nachkommen; dass er eingeschrieben werde in Phratrie
12und Demos und Phyle, die er will; dass auch über
13ihn die Prytanen abstimmen lassen in der kommenden Volksversammlung

4the Council shall decide: that the presiding committee
5allotted to preside at the next Assembly
6shall put the matter on the agenda and submit the opinion
7of the Council to the People, that it seems good to the Council to praise
8Philokles king of the Sidonians and to crown
9him with a gold crown according to the law for the good will
10which he continues to have for the People; and he shall be
11Athenian, and his descendants, and shall enrol in the tribe and
12deme and phratry that he wishes; and the prytany
13shall put the vote about him at the next Assembly
